Some 5000 years ago, the continent of China was plagued by disease and early mortality. The great Emperor Huang-ti celebrated court physician, ChiPo, and ordered him to incorporate the use of nature's forces to cure his people. It was decreed that henceforth treatment would consist of exercise, massage, respiratory therapy, incense, all of nature's elements (the Yin-Yang) and acupuncture.

This revelation is described in one of the greatest of ancient documents on healing entitled, "The Yellow Emperors Classic of Internal Medicine" (Huang-Ti Nei-Ching). It is the first mention of Acupuncture as an important form of therapy.

Acupuncture has been known and used in the West since the seventeenth century. The first recorded use of acupuncture was in 1810 by doctors in the Paris medical school.

In 1827, two doctors from Britain published a series of results on the treatment of forty-two cases of Rheumatism by Acupuncture. They came to the conclusion that this was an acceptable and effective method of treatment for these complaints.

After years of investigation and research, many clinics and hospitals throughout the United States have incorporated the use of Acupuncture Therapy. Some say that it wasn't until the 1970's, when China was first opened to the West that Acupuncture became known. Many Western doctors have studied Acupuncture techniques to supplement Western Medical Treatments in Pain Clinics. Any person, Doctor, or patient, who has actually experienced the miracle of Acupuncture, can testify that its results are positive.
